Veterinarians

Dr. Garren Kelly

Veterinarian, Owner

Dr. Garren Kelly graduated from Iowa State in 1993 and went on to graduate from Ross University in 1996 where he received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Kelly and his wife Kelly have two sons Kyler, and Kanan along with their pets Sissy (Shih- Tzu mix), Roxy Skye (French Bulldog), and Nacho (orange domestic short-hair). In his free time, Dr. Kelly enjoys being outdoors, Fishing, making Muskie fishing lures, and Bow hunting.

Dr. Meghann Rosburg

Veterinarian

Dr. Meghann Rosburg is originally from Iowa and attended Iowa State University for both undergrad and veterinary school. She graduated from ISU in 2019 and has practiced in southern Minnesota ever since. While she enjoys the diversity that the profession has to offer, she particularly enjoys surgery and dentistry. As she continues to “practice” medicine, she is learning to use ultrasound to better diagnose patients. During appointments, you may hear a good dad joke or two. Outside of work she is kept busy with her two children and husband, following the Iowa State Cyclones and Minnesota Vikings.

Dr. Hallie Varvel

Veterinarian

Dr Hallie Varvel spent most of her life in Illinois and attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale for her bachelor's and master's degree. She graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2023 and fell in love with the state during that time. She's crazy and actually likes the cold and snow. Dr Varvel lives with her husband and 3 cats; Dela, Fortuna (Tuna), and Juvia. Outside of work she enjoys crochet, Lego, video games, reading, and exploring the greater Rochester area for new fun things to do.

Lacey, CVT

Lead Technician

Lacey received her A.A.S from the Minnesota school of Business in 2012 and became a Certified Veterinary Technician. Lacey has been working at Meadow View Veterinary Clinic since 2012. In her free time, Lacey enjoys outdoor activities with her family and two dogs Fletcher (Teddy Bear) ad Autumn (Terrier mix, Teddy Bear), travelling, hiking, fishing, and reading

Kelsie, CVT

Lead Technician & Rehab Technician

Kelsie graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 2019 and graduated from Rochester Technical and Community College in 2021. Kelsie has been with Stewartville Animal Clinic since 2021. In her free time, Kelsie enjoys spending time with her Shih-Tzu, Colby, hiking, fishing, kayaking, cooking, and dog training. Kelsie is currently enrolled at the University of Tennessee to obtain her certification as a Canine Rehab Practitioner and is estimated to graduate fall 2023.

Liz, CVT

Lead Technician

Liz graduated from Argosy University in 2012 with her AAS and received her certification shortly after. She joined the Meadow View team in November of 2023 after moving back from the Brainerd Lakes Area to be closer to family. She is fear free certified and considers lab work to be one of her favorite areas. In her spare time, Liz enjoys kayaking, bow hunting, and reading books. Liz shares her life with her husband, Taylor; their three children, Wyatt, Gabriel, and Hadley; their dogs, Moose, Reese, Koda, Thor, Valkyrie and Boone; and their cats, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, and Winifred.

Bonnie, CVT

Veterinary Technician

Bonnie has an A.A.S in veterinary technology. She became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2010. Bonnie has been working at Meadow View Veterinary Clinic since 2010. Bonnie is the proud mom of Violet (Boxer) Jack (Boxer Mix) and Kitty (Domestic long hair). Bonnie enjoys spending time with friends and family, spending time on the water, camping, reading, and taking naps.

Jessica, CVT

Veterinary Technician

I graduated with an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from the Minnesota School of Business in 2013 to become a CVT. I joined Meadowview Vet Clinic at the beginning of 2025, while also working in another small animal clinic(share if you want). When not working I enjoy farm life with my family, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and chickens.

Hannah, CVT

Veterinary Technician

Hannah received her A.A.S from Rochester Community Technical College in 2019 and became a Certified Vet Tech. She’s experienced in both large and small animal medicine and has been working at Meadow View since the Summer of 2022.

In her free time, she enjoys photography, social media content creation, horseback riding and playing piano and cello. She owns 2 cats, 1 dog, and lots of chickens!

Jaci, CVT

Veterinary Technician

Originally from Winona, MN, I moved to Rochester in 2022 and graduated from RCTC in 2023 with my Veterinary Technician degree and became certified shortly after. Since graduation, I have been working at all three Meadow View Clinics and enjoy seeing all of the pets who come in for visits. In my downtime, I like hanging out with family and friends, watching movies, and being a pet parent to my cat Bitten, and my dog Bo.

Angela, CVT

Veterinary Technician

Angela graduated from Broadview University in Utah in 2009 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. She joined our team in Fall 2022 and splits her time between Meadow View and Stewartville Animal Clinics along with BluePearl Pet Emergency on weekends.

In her spare time, Angela enjoys knitting, sewing, listening to 80’s music, hiking, and spending time with her husband, two children, and Aussie/Border Collies, Miles and Birdie.

Shay

Receptionist/Assistant

Shay is originally from the Rochester area and brings over five years of hands-on experience in dog handling. She joined Meadow View in February 2024. Shay shares her life with two beloved dogs—Loki, a Pit Bull/Lab mix, and Blu, a Shepherd/Husky mix—who continue to inspire her passion for animal care every day.

With a deep love for working with dogs, Shay is committed to providing compassionate, attentive care and hopes to pursue professional dog training in the near future. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, swimming, long walks, tanning, fishing, reading, and spending quality time with her family and dogs—especially focusing on training and strengthening their bond.

Alicia

Receptionist/Assistant

“Alicia started her career in veterinary medicine in 2022, after leaving her life as a Disney Cast Member in Orlando, Florida. She grew up in Rochester, MN and is excited to be back in the area. Alicia has always had a passion for animals big and small and will always continue to learn and grow. She has two pets of her own- Indiana, a yellow Labrador, and Sebastian, a black domestic shorthair. They are spoiled rotten.

In her spare time, Alicia enjoys knitting, crocheting, musical theatre, movie-going, listening to music, and catching up on the latest sitcom.”

Melissa, CVT, CVPM

Clinic Administrator

Melissa has been working in veterinary medicine since 2009. She graduated with an AAS in Veterinary Technology in 2010 and worked as a CVT for several years in clinics around the Twin Cities Metro. In 2014, Melissa finished her BS degree in Business Administration at Metropolitan State University and transitioned down a path towards management and leadership within the veterinary industry. Melissa enjoys learning about animal behavior; in 2015 she became Low Stress Handling Certified - Silver and Fear Free Certified. In early 2021 Melissa earned the distinction of Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM). Melissa has a passion for business. people, and pets and uses her skills in business management and team leadership to support an amazing group of veterinary professionals in providing the best service possible.

Melissa and her husband were both born and raised in Rochester and after 12 years in the Twin Cities they moved back with their 3 kids to be closer to family. They have a Cavapoo named Cookie that often joins Melissa at work.
